Built in the 13th century, the Romantik Hotel "Castello Seeschloss" offers today 4-star comfort in a historical environment. All rooms are non-smoking, individually furnished, air-conditioned and housed in three separate buildings which are grouped around our garden and heated open-air pool (mid/end April to beginning/mid October) and in spite of the central location the garden offers a peaceful atmosphere. A copious breakfast-buffet is served from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM and freshly prepared "à la carte" dishes, menus and snacks are offered from noon onwards in our restaurants and weather permitting on our palm terrace or in the garden by the lake.

The Romantik Hotel "Castello Seeschloss" is situated at the beginning the lakeside promenade of Ascona, just a few steps from the picturesque town centre, the "Castello" is an ideal starting point for excursions on the Lake Maggiore, the visit of one of the typical italian markets or a trip to the typical Ticino valleys.



The "Castello Seeschloss" can easily be reached by car 24/24h, which can be parked on our free of charge open-air car parking or for a fee in the hotel garage.

Guests who prefer to arrive by public transportation means can book a train-ticket to Locarno and change either on the boat or the bus (nr. 1) which will take them to Ascona. The hotel is situated 200m form the boat jetty and 400m from the bus stop.
