The Hotel Continental was originally built for the 1964 exposition in Lausanne. The hotel has 116 rooms, all recently totally refurbished (2009). The Continental offers each traveller comfort and useful technology in the room, without a great focus on service quality and cleanliness. All rooms are non-smoking and equipped with Free WIFI internet access and air conditioning. The Continental offers furthermore 3 flexible meeting rooms which have been originally decorated with a masterpiece by the world famous Swiss painter Hans Erni. The "Fresques" have been inaugurated at the opening in 1964 for the world exposition in Lausanne. The breakfast is included in all room offers and will be served from Monday to Friday from 6.30-10.00am as well as Saturdays and Sundays from 6.30-10.30am.
