The Sternen hotel and restaurant, located at Thunstrasse 80 in Muri, can look back on a long history. It was in 1834 that the Sternen, whose reputation extends far beyond its home community, opened. In 1978, the Inn, protected as a historic building, underwent a complete renovation during which its exterior was preserved. Just two years later, the Sternen was reopened as a country inn and seminar facility.

The inn offers 44 spacious rooms for guests, decorated using feng shui colour elements. The Sternen offers a variety of options for holding conferences. All rooms are suitable for meetings, business and family events.

The seasonal creations of our chefs, whose delicacies range from international to traditional Swiss cuisine, delight our guests. Our “Läubli” restaurant offers the perfect atmosphere for an unforgettable culinary experience.

Located on the outskirts of the city of Bern in the popular suburb of Muri near the idyllic Aare River. Situated in a diplomatic and residential area.

The hotel can be reached easily and quickly: 8 minutes from the center of Bern (public transport tram stop behind the country inn), 15 minutes from airport Bern/Belp, 800 m from the highway exit Muri, parking.

Drive from Zurich/Basel to Berne via the A1. (Take the A12 when coming from Geneva/Lausanne). Near Berne, take the A6 towards Thun, exit at Muri. Follow Thunstrasse to the center of Muri (approx. 1km). Once in the center, you will see the country inn Sternen Muri on your left.
