Coming from Zurich/ Chur:
After Chur you follow the Highway A3/ A13 until you reach the exit to Flims. Follow this road (you will pass Flims, Ilanz ¿ direction Disentis) until you reach the exit to Waltensburg/ Andiast.
Coming from Lucerne/ Gotthard-Highway:
Take the exit to Andermatt and there follow the sign to the Oberalppass/ Disentis. You will drive over the Oberalp mountain pass. After Disentis follow the road until you get to the exit Waltensburg/ Andiast. Arriving from the South (Ticino) over the San Bernardino Pass: In Reichenau follow the signs to Flims, Ilanz, Disentis. Some minutes after Ilanz you¿ll reach the exit to Walternsburg/ Andiast.
Public transport from CHUR: by the Rhaetian railway to Disentis/Mustér (on the famous Glacier Express route) ¿ to Ilanz and by Postauto bus on to Waltensburg (year-round service). Public transport via the Oberalp: by SBB, on the Schöllenen, Furka-Oberalp and Rhaetian railways via Göschenen, Andermatt, Oberalp Pass to Disentis/Mustér as far as Ilanz and by Postauto bus on to Waltensburg (year-round service). Public transport from Tessin: by SBB to Biasca, by Autoline Bleniesi bus to Lukmanier Pass, by Postauto bus on to Disentis/Mustér, from there by the Rhaetian railway to Ilanz and by Postauto bus to Waltensburg (summer only, check timetable!). By car via Chur: N3/N13 motorway via Chur and the Flims-Ilanz-Disentis Kantonsstrasse as far as Waltensburg/Andiast turnoff. From Chur via Bonaduz-Versam-Ilanz.
